Slam are joined by green velvet's as his house alter ego - Cajmere - at return to mono on Friday June 11 - Curtis Jones’ first release as Cajmere (that's CAJ as in Curtis A. Jones) was put out in 1991 on his own Cajual label. A year later he had his first massive hit as Cajmere with the house tune "Coffee Pot (It's Time for the Percolator)," which was also released on Cajual. He then teamed up with Chicago-based vocalist Dajae for "Brighter Days," which entered #2 on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play, a high-impact and mellower house tune that was released on Emotive Records.
This overlord of Chicago House music graces Return To Mono @ the Sub Club on the eve of his Green Velvet headline set on the Soma-curated Saturday arcadia afterburner stage at rockness which also features silicone soul, gary beck, fergie and edit select Another RTM not to be missed!
